FIR against NMMC officials, developers
The Nerul police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against M/S Vighnahar Developer and some officials from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) in the Palm Beach FSI scam. The FIR was filed after the police raided the offices and homes of the officials. Senior Inspector Rajkumar Chafekar said, "We have registered a case against the developers and the NMMC officials under Sections 406, 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery), 468 (criminal breach of trust by public servant), 471, 409 and 34 of the IPC.
