Medical body sends letter to dentist for Facebook ad

Taking cognizance of a complaint filed by a city-based dentist, the Dental Council of India (DCI) finally sent a letter to the Maharashtra State Dental Council (MSDC) to take action against Dr Swapnil Bumb from Pune for unethically advertising on a social networking site, offering tutorials to students. The letter was sent by DCI to MSDC after Dr Vivekanand Rege filed a complaint against Dr Bumb with the Mumbai police, DCI and MSDC for unethical advertisement and maligning Dr Rege's name.
