THE BBC is set to cut about 2,000 jobs from its workforce of 18,000, sources said last night, as part of changes aimed at making savings of about 20 per cent.
The corporation will hold a series of meetings with its staff across the UK this morning, when it will reveal details of its “Delivering Quality First” initiative.
