Builder grabs govt land, sells it back to state

Charisma Builders allegedly forged power of attorney over Chembur land in 1999, then traded it with agencies like MMRDA to avail benefits of FSI Twisting the power of attorney (PoA) made on a stamp paper of Rs 100 to his advantage, a builder allegedly grabbed government land measuring 1,35,502 sq m and traded a major portion back to the government for various projects. The land, worth over Rs 642 crore, originally belonged to a housing society. The land is now a prime location in ChemburBut no development took place there
