Cop arrested for arm-twisting man to part with 33-acre plot

The officer and his kin had hired goons to kidnap, assault the chairman of a trust and force him to part with his property; evaded arrest by convincing cops that he had applied for anticipatory bail in High CourtAfter evading the long arm of the law for almost a month, a police officer, who allegedly hired goons to abduct a man and force him to sign over his property, was nabbed by Satara police on Friday. The accused Sanjeevan Kamble was a senior police inspector with the Sagari police station.
