Cop drinks alcohol while escorting Naxalite cadre
An inquiry has been initiated against sub-inspector Ramakant Bhansude for allegedly drinking and misbehaving with a female colleague while guarding Anjali Sontakke on a train to Nagpur A sub-inspector attached to the Local Arms unit is being put through an inquiry, after it was alleged that he consumed alcohol while escorting top woman Naxalite cadre Anjali Sontakke, alias Angela, who was arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Squad in April 2011. Anjali is married to the secretary of the state committee
